Error accesing menu elements after updating to Joomla 3.8.7 was created by Maria
I´ve just updated to Jommla 3.8.7 from Joomla 3.8.5 and when I tried to access an element of menu which link to a simple article the following message appears:

Error: Call to undefined method Error::get(): Using $this when not in object context

Do I need to update something in Jomi template?

How can I fix this problem?

    Hello,

    If you see



    This is php support issue i suppose you are running php 7.1 or 7.2
    You can use php lover e.g php 7.0.X (29) or update template 'jomi_joomla_3.x_1.0.8_php7.1.zip' install via extensions manager the problem should be gone.


    Important! please uninstall jomi template (extensions/manage/jomi / uninstall then install agian template via extenions manager.

    Thanks but unfortunatelly it doesn´t run.

    The only thing that works is to change PHP version to 7.0.

    Any other solution?

    Please make Backup all your data before Installing template you can use e.g AkeebaBackup

    Did you unistall old template then install jomi_joomla_3.x_1.0.8_php7.1.zip' via extensions manager?
    Could you send screenshot?

    I tested few sec ago Joomla! 3.8.7 and PHP 7.2.4 everything seems to be alright
