Hello,
A demo package "Johanna_Quickstart.zip" is a full Joomla installation, which includes the theme and sample data responsible for the layout and setup of our demo
We always suggest that you install the Quickstart on a test subdomain or localhost(xampp) to check how everything works in demo, what settings the modules have etc…
Here i show how to install joomla 3 quick start package:
Extract the zip package "Johanna_Quickstart.zip" then upload all files to your server. You can upload all the files via cPanel and unzip directly onto the server (localhost) ...
Step 1: Go to your site url (for example: www.your - site - name.com/ or if you use any folder then must be type htt p://www.your - site - name.com/folder - name/) so you will get this snapshot like installation page, just fill then and click next:
Step 2: Make a database and fill the database information here and click next:
Step 3: This is the important step for get demo like looking, you need to check the Johanna Sample Data radio button to get demo like look , and finally click on install button.
Step 4: After installation done you will get like this page and you need to click remove installation folder button
Step 5: Ok you are done now your site ready to use.
